Two men were arrested and charged with drug possession after police said they found more than 40 pounds of methamphetamine in the car in which the pair were traveling.

Juan Acosta Lazcano, 39, and Hector Acosta Lazcano, 44, were pulled over by Colorado State Patrol trooper Jeff Vrbas Saturday while traveling on I-70. Vrbas wrote in the arrest affidavit the car had crossed the center line several times.

According to the affidavit, the driver was identified as Hector Acosta Lazcano and the passenger was identified as Juan Acosta Lazcano.

Hector Acosta Lazcano told police he had been a little tired, according to the affidavit, and that he and his brother were visiting a friend and would be in Colorado for a day.
