TEXARKANA, Ar. – Just a day before school starts, the Texarkana Arkansas School District hosted a meet-and-greet for its newest stars to the Razorback Athletic team.

Superintendent Lloyd Jackson said he wants to encourage the community to come out and experience some of the energy this year, not only with the Razorback players, but also with the new athletic leadership.

“We are excited here in Razorback Country to have a new start in a lot of areas; one being within our football program which we’re going to get a chance to day view tonight,” said Jackson. “We’re going to get a chance to see our red and white game; also we have new boys basketball coaches, new girls basketball coaches, and a new athletic director.
