South Dakota Gov. Larry Rhoden is accepting contributions for a campaign website that is paid for by his gubernatorial committee, but he's continuing to hold off on announcing an official run for governor in 2026.
A website with the domain name governorlarryrhoden.com has been created, and it appears to be funded by "Rhoden for Governor," a statewide candidate committee that the Republican governor chairs, per filings with the South Dakota Secretary of State's office.
The campaign website allows online visitors to make donations of $10, $25, $50, $100 or other amounts to the Rhoden campaign. An email subscription box headlined with the words "Keep South Dakota Strong, Safe, and Free" allows interested parties to receive updates about the state's 34th governor.
