BENNINGTON — A Manchester man, convicted in 2018 of similar offenses, was sentenced in Bennington on two counts of possessing child sexual abuse materials (CSAM) in a plea deal with the Vermont Attorney General's office.

Michael Holden, 36, was sentenced to 10-15 years behind bars, both concurrent and to serve, and both to run consecutive to his older sentence from the 2018 conviction, meaning her will have to serve out the remainder of his former sentence before serving the minimum of five more years in jail before being considered for release. After any possible release in the future, Holden would also be required to complete sex offender treatment while incarcerated.
