Thousands of students across Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire will today be finding out their A-level results. Halls inside schools and colleges will be busy as lecturers and teachers meet up with their students once again on what is a big day for everyone.

There will be plenty of guidance for those who got what they wanted - and those who didn't get the grades they'd hoped for.

Times vary depending on the college or school but they can usually be collected from as early as 8am. Meanwhile students will often be e-mailed details of whether or not their university place has been confirmed.

It's not just A-levels today, students will also be collecting T-level and Vocational Technical Qualifications (VTQ) results.
