BBC Breakfast star Naga Munchetty was red-faced as fans fumed over a "painful" interview.

On Thursday (August 14), Naga and her co-host Charlie Stayt updated viewers on the latest news from across the UK and around the world.

Mike Bushell was also in the studio to present the sports segment, while Carol Kirkwood delivered regular weather forecasts.

Elsewhere in the show, Naga and Charlie interviewed Only Fools and Horses star Sir David Jason about his long-spanning acting career.
