Lloyds Bank has issued a warning, primarily to people born between two years, as a sophisticated scam is seeing victims lose an average of £1,420. The banking giant's fraud experts have released new data and advice concerning what is referred to as an "advance fee" job con.
The scams mostly target people aged between 18 and 34, and usually originate on social media platforms, according to Lloyds. They are promoted as remote work or content creator positions, targeting jobseekers nationwide.
