Three civilians were injured on Thursday by a Ukrainian drone attack in Belgorod, the biggest city in the namesake region on the border with Ukraine, Gov. Vyacheslav Gladkov reported.

The civilians were inside a moving vehicle when it was hit by a drone.

In a separate attack in a different part of the city, Gladkov said a government building was hit by a drone early Thursday. No one was injured in that attack.

Overall, Russia’s Defense Ministry reported destroying 44 Ukrainian drones over Russian regions and the annexed Crimea overnight.
