SANDERSON, Fla. – Gov. Ron DeSantis on Thursday will hold a news conference at Baker Correctional Institution in Sanderson, Florida.

The event is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. and will be livestreamed at the very top of this story.

The governor will be joined by Lt. Gov. Jay Collins , Florida Division of Emergency Management Director Kevin Guthrie and Adjutant General of Florida Major General John D. Haas.

The specific topic of conversation has not been released.

Sanderson is located about 40 miles west of Jacksonville.
