A partnership by Warren and Sterling Heights to strengthen the region’s defense industry, advanced manufacturing and security innovation is seeking to hire an executive leader.

The Arsenal Alliance is conducting a national search to hire a defense-industry economic-development advisor to “shape, develop, implement and manage a unified strategy to expand the region’s defense footprint,” and to attract public and private dollars and partnerships, officials said in a press release.

Proposals will be accepted by the organization through Sept. 16.
