When Grande Prairie rural RCMP responded to a call about a driver slumped over the wheel of a vehicle in the middle of the road, they immediately noticed drug paraphernalia. Article content

On Aug. 9, around 7:40 a.m., police responded to the report to find a man “heavily asleep” in the vehicle with drug related items in plain sight. Article content

When they searched the vehicle, they found and seized:

$2,080 in Canadian currency

99 grams of suspected methamphetamine;

19 grams of suspected fentanyl;

drug trafficking paraphernalia;

a loaded crossbow;

a flame thrower; and

a prohibited knife.

RCMP note that some of the seized drugs were found in a backpack with a “Support your local drug dealer” label.
