Zac Dalpe hired by Seattle Kraken

Dalpe, who retired following the 2024-25 hockey season, was hired by the Seattle Kraken as a player development consultant.

The 35-year-old former Brantford Minor Hockey Association player concluded a 16-year professional hockey career as a member of the American Hockey League’s Charlotte Checkers.

Drafted in the second round (45th overall) of the 2008 NHL draft by the Carolina Hurricanes, Dalpe would played 168 career games in the NHL with the Hurricanes, Vancouver Canucks, Buffalo Sabres, Minnesota Wild, Columbus Blue Jackets and Florida Panthers.

He scored 16 goal and added 16 assists and played for the Panthers in the 2023 Stanley Cup final.
