DENVER (KDVR) — The Aurora Police Department has released new details of two separate deadly auto-pedestrian crashes that occurred around a month of each other.

On Thursday, the police department in two different press releases said they are seeking charges against two separate drivers after each of the incidents allegedly resulted in the death of a pedestrian.

Deadly crash on North Himalaya Road

On June 29 at around 9:40 p.m. APD said police responded to a report of a crash involving a pedestrian on North Himalaya Road, just north of East 64th Avenue in Aurora.

In the initial investigation of the crash, police said that three men were walking on the road southbound on the shoulder. While walking, two of the men were allegedly hit from behind by a female driver in a Mazda sedan.
