Look, I'm a pique polo kind of guy. As a true sportsman, anytime you get me talking about polos I'm going to defer to pique. Though technically a knitted fabric, we're not talking pique here because it's in it's own world when it comes to polo shirts. That said, I have love for the "knit polo" that's all the rage right now, that dressy sweater thing. It doesn't factor into my wardrobe much—I keep it to jeans and suits —but I think it's a cheat code when it comes to most guys' style choices. Just the other day, a longtime friend showed up wearing a Todd Snyder one with jeans. A few weeks later I saw him in a French terry polo from J.Crew and a pair of swim trunks as shorts. Both times, he looked great.
