JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – The Hollywood Walk of Fame honors over 2,800 performance artists and icons, but only a handful were born in Mississippi.

Performing artists from across the world have coveted stars along Vine Street and Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles. After an extensive analysis of all Walk of Fame inductees, WJTV 12 News found that Mississippi only has 11 honorees. Using the inductee information from the Hollywood Walk of Fame website, WJTV 12 News compiled an overview of the 11 artists featured.
