PHILADELPHIA — Jordan Mailata can't help himself. The Philadelphia Eagles left tackle admits there's sometimes only one reaction he can have when he's going against Browns All-Pro defensive end Myles Garrett.
"I'll get a giggle," Mailata said after the Eagles and Browns wrapped up their second joint practice Aug. 14. "I'll get a giggle out it. I'll be honest. I'm just standing, like, 'What the f***?' Sorry, I did my job, and yet I still got beat.'"
Mailata didn't spend the entirety of the two days the teams practiced against each other having to block Garrett. There were several times, especially on the first day, where the former Defensive Player of the Year lined up on the other side of the defensive line.
