HOUSTON (KIAH) — The Houston Rockets will have 28 nationally televised games for the 2025-26 season, including a Christmas Day game at the Los Angeles Lakers and an Opening Night matchup against the defending NBA champion Oklahoma City Thunder.
The Rockets released their full schedule on Thursday, as they enter the upcoming season with high expectations follow the blockbuster trade that brings 15-time All-Star forward Kevin Durant to Houston. The Rockets finished with a 52-30 record last season but suffered a first-round playoff series loss to Golden State in seven games.
The Rockets will have seven games exclusively on NBC, including the season opener against the OKC Thunder on Tuesday, Oct. 21. Four games are scheduled to be on ABC, including the Dec. 25th game against the Lakers.
