The Milwaukee Bucks added another young veteran to their training camp roster Aug. 14 by signing 28-year-old wing Amir Coffey to a one-year, non-guaranteed deal.
NBA teams can bring up to 20 players to training camp, and the Bucks currently have 15 on guaranteed, or partially guaranteed contracts, the maximum allowed. The team also has three players on two-way contracts, the maximum allowed.
A league source confirmed the signing, originally reported by ESPN.
At 6-foot-7, 210 pounds, Coffey has played shooting guard and small forward in his first six years in the league with the Los Angeles Clippers .
