JACKSON, MISS. (WJTV) - The Mississippi Mass Choir continues to gain renown with recent award nominations.

The Mississippi Mass Choir announced they've received seven nominations for two different award ceremonies. These nominations are for six categories in the Stellar Gospel Music Awards and one in the GMA Dove Awards.

The choir’s latest album, We Still Believe, has earned recognition in the following Stellar Awards categories: • Choir of the Year • Traditional Choir of the Year • Traditional Album of the Year (We Still Believe) • Recorded Music Packaging of the Year • Special Event Album of the Year • Producer of the Year (Stan Jones, Jerry Mannery, Jerry Smith & David R. Curry, Jr.)

Additionally, The Promise has garnered a GMA Dove Award nomination for Traditional Gospel
