BELMONT COUNTY, OH (WTRF) - The future of learning is here at Saint Clairsville Elementary School as students get ready to embark on a STEM centered learning experience.

During the grand opening students and staff alike got a small taste of what’s to come this school year.

It’s never too young too spark an interest in science and technology, and today kids had the chance to check out hands on activities like circuit boards, connector sets and more.

“We’re excited because our STEM Center is truly a launchpad for our students to explore, think about future possibilities and be leaders in our community.”

“Our goal is to really lay that foundation early so when they move into the upper grades – middle school, high school – they have a great understanding of engineering and technology.”
