LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — THV11 has been following lingering SNAP scam cases since calls first came into our newsroom, just after the Fourth of July.

EBT benefits were taken out of hundreds of Arkansas benefit accounts without the account holders knowing, leaving families across the state forced to make tough decisions without those EBT/SNAP benefits available to them.

The incidents caught the attention of state workers who have refined their effort towards ensuring more Arkansans aren't impacted by the SNAP scam.
