The protesters expressed concerns about potential water contamination, strain on the power grid, and a lack of transparency regarding the project.

Residents have voiced their worries about the impact on city services, finances, and the environment, stating they are prepared to fight against the proposal.

The data center is planned to be built in a mostly industrial area on the northwest side of town. Supporters of the project hosted information stations on Thursday to discuss the benefits they believe the center will bring.
