ST. LOUIS - A Heat Advisory begins for the metro and southeast Missouri/southwest Illinois at noon Friday and lasts through at least Monday evening.

It'll be heating again as temperatures climb to the mid-90s for Friday. Heat index values will climb into the triple digits. Temperatures may even be a bit hotter for Saturday and Sunday, with highs in the upper 90s.

Monday and Tuesday remain hot, with relief coming by Wednesday. Rain chances increase late Tuesday and Wednesday along with the approaching cold front.
