LITTLE COMPTON, R.I. (WLNE) — In the southeast corner of the Ocean State, Sakonnet Vineyard is hoping to connect some pups with their forever homes.

The vineyard is partnering with the Lighthouse Animal Shelter for a dog adoption event.

Guests will be able to meet adoptable dogs, learn about the adoption process, win gift baskets and of course enjoy what the vineyards have to offer.

For anyone interested in making a new furry friend, this event will be at Sunday from 4 to 6 in the afternoon.
