With as crowded as Colorado’s biggest lakes can get, it can be a challenge to find a peaceful place to boat.

But BoatBooker , a website for booking boat tours around the world, thinks it found a great place in central Colorado to get on the water without crowds. It tapped Salida as the No. 19 place for crowd-free boating in the country, the only town in the Rockies to make a list dominated by coastal states.
