It took some patience and hard work, but Elijah Wynder found his back into a Galaxy game as a member of the first team in Sunday’s loss against the Seattle Sounders .

Wynder joined the Galaxy on a transfer from Louisville City FC in the USL Championship. He made appearances in the first five games and six of the first seven. Sunday’s 25 minutes were his first for the Galaxy since May 31.

“It meant a lot for me personally,” Wynder said of getting back on the field. “Obviously, it wasn’t the result we wanted, so circumstances weren’t ideal, but for me personally it meant that work I’ve been doing in training, I feel like I’ve been training really well, so it was proof that they (the coaching staff) see that and recognize it, so it meant a lot for me.”
