Founder Desiree Johnson started Justin Thyme Homes out of personal experience and frustration with the typical contractor approach.

“I’ve been building homes for myself and my husband for about 20 years, and after a bad experience with a contractor 10 years ago, I used my business background to start Justin Thyme Homes,” Johnson said. “I wanted to create something different in this industry—more transparency, dependability and communication homeowners don’t usually get.”
