OKANOGAN COUNTY, Wash. -- A Bellingham woman is facing vehicular assault and DUI charges for a crash Thursday night in Okanogan County.

According to Washington State Patrol, 22-year-old Shaylynn Jojola was driving west on Highway 20 just north of Twisp around 11 p.m.

WSP says Jojola was driving west when she crossed the center line and hit an eastbound vehicle head on.

Both she and the other driver were injured and taken to an area hospital.

WSP says Jojola was not wearing a seatbelt and suspected of being under the influence.
