Jerry passed away, at the age of 80 years, in Pinewood Court, with dementia.

Always a hard worker. He started delivering newspapers as a teenager, then worked as a printer at the Times Journal Newspaper, then with Albert Massaro, Abitibi and Stevedoring. Then he worked for the Canadian Grain Commission as a weighman for over 30 years before retiring.

Jerry spent endless hours at camp, enjoying every minute he spent clearing the trees out and building his camp and sauna on his favourite Lake Superior. His passion was boating, fishing and rock collecting.

He loved when his grandchildren came out to camp. He played cards, took them fishing, nailed a dart board to a tree, played badminton and taught them how to use a bow and arrow.

Jerry will be sadly missed by his wife Sharon of 56 years;
