WILSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — One school in Wilson County has a tradition that pays tribute to patriotism.

At the intersection of Highway 109 and Interstate 840, traffic passes by a wall painted with an American flag and a list of names. Those names have a special meaning at Wilson Central High School.

"I think the wall has a great purpose here at Wilson Central, I have been here since the school started 25 years ago as an assistant principal," explained assistant principal Jason Franklin. "We have had many young men and young women serve out country in all branches. We have always taken great pride in promoting the military and our country."
