The NCAA released a 74-page "Public Infractions Decision " Friday, Aug. 15, on Michigan football's sign-stealing scheme orchestrated by disgraced ex-staffer Connor Stalions .

Stalions, who volunteered for Michigan for several seasons, was officially an analyst for the Wolverines from 2022-23, before he resigned Nov. 3, 2023 amid the start of the investigation into illegal in-person sign stealing.

Coach Jim Harbaugh hired Stalions, and though there has been no evidence Harbaugh knew of the illegal scheme that ran from 2021-23, the NCAA deemed him responsible — and Michigan agreed — for oversight of his program.
