A $33 million commercial and residential complex south of 116th Street in downtown Fishers is open as the suburb redevelops a part of the city that was once splayed with one-story bungalows and small shops.
District South is an “urban village” on South Street near Lantern Road and the Nickel Plate Trail built by Rebar Development, of Fishers , according to the company. It includes a new headquarters for The Annex Group and four other buildings with offices, commercial suites and loft apartments.
The Annex Group plans to relocate up to 40 full-time employees to the four-story building in the center of the village. The residences include 42 residential lofts on the upper floors of the building with a shared rooftop, patio, cafe, and work-from-home lounge.
