Duncan Currie targeted leisure facilities across the Central Belt during a month-long crime spree. ‌

Hamilton Sheriff Court heard that victims found their lockers had been forced open and car keys stolen. ‌

Currie, 41, of Glasgow, was jailed for 32 months this week. He admitted stealing cars after breaking into lockers at seven leisure centres in Lanarkshire, Stirling, East Dunbartonshire, East Renfrewshire and Inverclyde.

The thefts happened over a four-week period last summer.
