The race to unseat Mohamed Salah and keep him from standing alone atop the Premier League Golden Boot record list began in earnest when Liverpool teammate Hugo Ekitike scored the first goal of this season on Friday, August 15.

Ekitike, Salah, and everyone else is now looking up at another familiar face as Erling Haaland’s finishing is lethal and he’s bidding to restore order and win his third Golden Boot in four seasons.
