COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Columbus Division of Police identified a 15-year-old boy who died following a shooting on the city's west side on Friday.

Officers were called on a report of a shooting in the 600 block of , located in the Georgian Heights neighborhood, around 3:45 p.m.

Upon arrival, officers found Anthony Johnson suffering from a gunshot wound.

He was transported to Grant Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 4:40 p.m.

The suspect, identified as 19-year-old Jordan Austin, was arrested and charged with murder.

It's unclear what led up to the shooting.
