CINCINNATI —

Multiple fire crews were called to battle a house fire in Mariemont on Friday afternoon.

It was reported on Haines Street, near Miami Road and Wooster Pike around 3:50 p.m. Advertisement

Mariemont, Anderson, Norwood, Sycamore Township, Union Township, Milford, Madeira and Cincinnati firefighters were among those at the scene. Around 42 firefighters responded to the scene.

The fire was put out and under control by 6 p.m. but crews were expected to stay at the scene for hours.

"By the time we got here, not only was it on the second floor, by the time we got done it was all the way down on their first floor," Assistant Chief Dan Copeland said.

No one was inside the house when the fire broke out and one dog, a labradoodle named Daisy, was rescued from inside the house. Ther
