FARNHAMVILLE, Iowa —
An Iowa man will spend the rest of his life behind bars for his role in the death of a teenage girl last year.
Nathaniel Bevers-McGivney was found guilty this summer of first-degree murder in the death of Michele "Luna" Jackson, a 17-year-old Farnhamville girl whose body was found last September.

Bevers-McGivney was found "covered in apparent blood" and was in possession of Jackson's scooter shortly after Jackson had been reported missing, according to investigators. Her body was found the next day, and a criminal complaint alleged the location indicated he intentionally hid the body to conceal the crime.
“This was not just a murder, your honor," said Calhoun County
