The $111,500 grant Kingston’s Dawn House received from the provincial government’s Ontario Trillium Foundation was used to help it rebound from the pandemic.
The Resilient Communities Fund grant allowed the local charity to convert the space that had been occupied by its social enterprise into a meeting, program and office space, hire staff to develop new revenue streams, offer more online programming, and rebuild its volunteer base.
