MIAMI, Fla. (WFLA) — A resident in Miami got a rude awakening last Saturday morning after a driver slammed into several vehicles in front of her home and then took off.

Sophy Rindler told NBC 6 South Florida she heard the sound of the crash but wasn't sure what it was until she got up and saw the destruction.

Surveillance video from her home showed a white car speeding down her street around 6 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 9, before crashing into her parked SUV.

A loud bang could be heard as the vehicles collided. The crash sent the SUV flying through Rindler's fence and into a couple of motorcycles.

The white car ended up on the other side of the road. Video showed the driver leaving the scene about 10 minutes after the crash.
