Oregon has landed another international player to its front court.

Efe Vatan, a 6-foot-9 forward from Turkey, committed to the Ducks on Thursday. He’s played for Turkey’s Galatasaray in both the Basketball Champions League (BSL) and under-19 league, where he averaged 16.7 points and 6.5 rebounds and shot 61.3% from the field, including 33.7% from three last season.

It’s not immediately clear how many years of eligibility Vatan will have.

His addition will give the Ducks their full allotment of 13 scholarship players in 2025-26 and provide depth at power forward behind Kwame Evans Jr. and Sean Stewart.

Vatan is the sixth addition to UO’s roster this offseason and the second international player to commit to UO this summer, joining center Ege Demir, who also played in Turkey’s BSL.
