BELMONT COUNTY, Ohio (WTRF) — The Ohio Hills School-Based Health Center inside Bellaire High School opened officially on Friday.

It is essentially a doctor's office that will serve the school's students and staff as well as members of the community.

7News took a look inside.

If a kid gets sick in school, life gets complicated.

They'll go to the school nurse, and the school nurse, if it's not something they could take care of, will have to call the parents, and the parents will have to leave work and take the student to the doctor or the urgent care."

Now, at Bellaire High School, students simply walk down the hall to the doctor's office.
