TUCUMCARI, N.M. —

State police arrested a 15-year-old high school student after repeated shooting threats were made.

He is alleged to have made repeated threats to bring a firearm to Tucumcari High School. State police officers worked with the Tenth Judicial District Attorney's Office to search the student's residence.

Tucumcari police and the Quay County Sheriff's Office found and seized several firearms and ammunition. He was arrested and charged with making a shooting threat.

State police found the Tucumcari Police Department responded to his home more than 70 times between June and the middle of August.

The student was transported and booked in to the Lea County Juvenile Detention Center. He was arrested on Wednesday, Aug.
