Houston – It may be just under two months until the Texas Renaissance Festival officially kicks off, but the giving had already begun. The festival’s annual King’s Tour is all about supporting the Galveston County Food Bank, and on Friday the royal procession made stops in Galveston to collect food and cash donations for families in need.
Along the way, the King of the Texas Renaissance Festival visited some of the area’s most beloved spots to spread the word about the fight against hunger and to invite the community to join in.
The day wrapped up at Haak Winery in Santa Fe, where guests sipped award-winning wines, enjoyed live entertainment from Texas Renaissance Festival performers, and even earned tickets to the festival in exchange for donations of non-perishable food or monetary gi
