PULLMAN, Wash. — Washington State University earned the No. 1 spot on the Princeton Review's 2026 Most Loved Colleges list.

The Princeton Review polled students during the 2024-25 school year and asked them to rate their own colleges on dozens of topics and report on their campus experiences. The 2026 rankings are based on data from the company's surveys of 170,000 students across the country.

The "Most Loved Colleges" list was based on how strongly students agreed or disagreed with the statement, "I am satisfied with my school." WSU beat out Harvey Mudd College and Hillsdale College, which came in second and third place, respectively.

The Princeton Review included WSU on their Best Value Colleges, Best West, and The Best 391 Colleges lists. WSU also ranked No. 46 on the Top 50 Green
