In response to mounting concerns surrounding the prolonged incorporation process of Okanagan Falls — the first new municipality proposed in British Columbia in more than 15 years — Boundary-Similkameen MLA Donegal Wilson is raising serious objections to what she calls a lack of transparency and accountability from the BC-NDP government.

Wilson says the provincial government’s handling of the process undermines the community’s democratic will and sets a troubling precedent for future municipal incorporations across the province.
