SACRAMENTO, Calif. —

KCRA 3 has obtained a draft map that the California Legislature may consider as the state moves ahead with a plan to redraw its congressional lines if Texas moves forward with its redistricting plan.

Two sources close to the situation have provided KCRA 3 with the maps, which are a draft and not the final version. The draft maps are not currently available to the public but are expected to be released by legislative leaders at some point Friday afternoon. Three sources close to the situation said congressional Democrats and state Democratic lawmakers were arguing about the draft, delaying the release.
