For the only time this year, Pittsburgh is home for a preseason game against the Buccaneers. The two held a joint workout on Thursday in a session that veterans find the most valuable.

"Teams are, especially in practice settings, you’re not on film, so they’re less worried about showing things they might be working on," said quarterback Aaron Rodgers. "Todd (Bowles), he probably won’t show everything, but he’ll do some stuff to stress our protection and give us some film to work on.”

Rodgers is among a core of veterans not in action Saturday night.
