CLEARBROOK — The Clearbrook Senior Center will host a presentation titled, "Medications as We Age - What Are the Side Effects?" at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 19, at the Center, 105 Main Street.

This will be a virtual presentation with Dr. Mark Dewey, a board certified geriatric pharmacist and fellow of the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists. Dewey will give the presentation via Zoom on the center's TV.

Attendees will learn how disease diagnosis can affect current or additional medication use; changes that occur after beginning a new medication; and what can be done to lessen or eliminate these changes while still getting the benefit of the medication.

Following the presentation, there will be a question-and-answer session with a pharmacist.
