CLEVELAND, Ohio — Pleasant summer weather will stick around Friday in Northeast Ohio before heat and humidity build this weekend ahead of an approaching cold front.

High pressure sliding toward the East Coast will keep skies mostly sunny over the Cleveland area on Friday, with highs in the mid to upper 80s. Dew points in the low to mid 60s will keep the humidity comfortable, and a light lake breeze may develop along the lakeshore in the afternoon.

That should be welcome news for all of the outdoor events happening in the region Friday , including Morgan Wallen at Huntington Bank Field, Neil Young at Blossom Music Center in Cuyahoga Falls and the Little Italy Feast of the Assumption.
