Sukhvir (Sukh) Singh has spent the past week taking a breather. After another hectic summer, he needed to get a little rest before Attack Basketball, the elite hoops organization he and childhood friends Raj and Davinder Brar founded about a decade ago, starts another season.

This Monday, Aug. 18, tryouts begin for the next group of Attack Basketball stars at the Sport for Life building on Pacific Ave. After recently returning from the Western Canadian Club Championships in B.C., he’ll get right back into it with a new/old crop of kids for the 2025-26 season.

“This week and the following week we’ll have a full set of tryouts,” he explained. “For anyone interested, all the information is on our Instagram page and registration is up on our website so you can do all the registration online.
